Optimised balancing concept for
tumbler screening machines

Improved fine-balancing reduces the forces applied to the foundations
and steel-constructions

“MultiBalance” reduces unbalanced masses and residual forces in steel-constructions.

With the newly developed multi-dimensional electronic balancing system “MultiBalance”, ALLGAIER have optimised the vibration characteristics of their tumbler screening machines even further. This new system makes it possible to eliminate the imbalance of the tangential component. Measurements have shown that they can be reduced by up to 80%.

This is particularly important in cases where the resonant frequency of the building lies close to the frequency of the tumbler screening machine.
In such cases, “MultiBalance” prevents undesirable and damaging resonance effects.

With immediate effect, all ALLGAIER tumbler screening machines with a screen diameter of more than 1600 mm will be equipped as standard with “MultiBalance” and will be balanced optimally on a special test station before they leave the factory. The machines will thus be optimally adjusted for most applications.

The “MultiBalance” system is retrofittable and can be installed on existing screening machines.

For particularly difficult applications, frequently changing feedrates, product compositions and speeds, the ALLGAIER service department can also balance the screening machines on-site. In cases where several tumbler screening machines are installed on a single floor of a building, resulting in superimposed vibrations, the proven ALLGAIER screening-machine synchronisation can also be employed.
